Lanzarote / November 20–25, 2025
WELCOME TO THE CANARY ISLANDS,
Close your eyes and imagine this scene for a moment:
We’re sitting around the dinner table, with sun-warmed skin, tired legs, glowing eyes. We’ve been diving, hiking, and breathing together all day. No one’s on their phone. There’s laughter, loud voices, and excited conversation. It’s the end of the kind of day that makes your body feel heavy yet satisfied, and your mind open and buzzing.
That’s what we want this entire week to feel like.
A week to breathe, move, nap after a long brunch in the sun, and spend time in the water with good people.
That’s it. That’s the pitch.
It’s not just about slowing down. It’s about remembering how good it feels to be alive in your body, and to meet strangers who quickly feel like new friends.
You’ll particularly enjoy this if you’ve been:
- craving time away from screens, noise, and pressure
- looking for a deeper connection to your body, not just a new mindset
- wanting to build a breath practice but struggling to make it stick
- curious about freediving or just being underwater
You don’t need any diving or breathwork experience. You don’t need a Big Reason. You just need to feel a ‘hell yes I want that’ somewhere in your body as you’re reading these words.
What will the week look like?
Each day looks a little different, but the rhythm is the same:
- Morning movement and breathwork
- Time in the water (freediving or relaxed ocean sessions)
- Delicious brunch, and dinner – prepared by a professional chef
- Afternoon rest, hikes, yoga, journaling – all optional
- One daily breathing session (guided, simple, science-backed)
- Sunset dinners, good conversations, early nights
Where: Lanzarote, Canary Islands
When: November 20–25, 2025
Group size: Max 8 people
Food: Brunch and dinner, with snacks and coffee/tea all day
Accommodation: Villa with ocean views, swimming pool, pool table, jacuzzi (shared and private rooms available)
Freediving: Daily sessions with certified instructor Momo (no prior diving experience needed)
Breathwork: Daily sessions with certified breathwork coach Charlotte
We’re running this retreat because secretly, we long for a week like this ourselves.
Because come on, is there a better feeling than rolling into bed, dead-tired from being outside in the sun and being with good people?
For most of us, days like that don’t tend to happen on their own. We have to create them. And that’s what we’re doing – and we’d love for you to join us.
Still feeling that yes somewhere in your body? Then keep reading…

What to expect from the Breathwork Sessions
When people hear “breathwork,” they often imagine something intense – cathartic sessions, heavy emotions, loud music, deep processing.
That’s not what we’re doing here. The breathwork on this retreat is simple, science-backed, and designed to help you build a deeper relationship with your own nervous system. It’s about learning how to “use” your breath to regulate, to focus, to reset, to feel.
Each day, we’ll do a guided session. Some will be calming and quiet. Some might be energizing or playful. But all of them are accessible, practical, and designed for real life (not just retreat life!)
You’ll learn how to breathe more efficiently. You’ll start to notice the subtle patterns in your own breath. You’ll walk away with tools you can actually use – whether that’s on a plane, in a meeting, before sleep, or after a hard conversation.
Most people don’t need a dramatic breakthrough. They need a clear, felt sense of what it means to breathe fully and deeply, and the support and structure to practice it. And so that’s what we’re offering.
The sessions will be guided by Charlotte Grysolle, an Oxygen Advantage Instructor, a certified Breath Science Practitioner, and an ICF-accredited Body-Oriented Coach. She works with people one-on-one and in group settings to help them use their breath in practical, everyday ways for energy, focus, sleep, and stress.
Fun fact: she did her very first breathing exercise as part of a freediving course. She was instantly intrigued by the impact on her body, her thoughts, her mood. So the combination of freediving + breathwork holds a special place in her heart—and something she’s so excited to share with others.

What to expect from Freediving
You don’t need to be a diver. You don’t need to be able to hold your breath for two minutes.. And you definitely don’t need to push yourself past your edges.
Freediving, the way we do it, is about presence. Getting quiet. Feeling your body. Hearing your own heartbeat in your ears. Moving through water slowly and consciously.
Some people might dive a few meters. Others might float at the surface. All of it is welcome. We’ll be in the water every day, but the pressure to “achieve” anything? It’s not part of this retreat.
You’ll be guided by Markus “Momo” Mutter. He’s a highly experienced Freediving Instructor & Competition Safety Diver, Oxygen Advantage Advanced Functional Breathwork Instructor and Play Zone Pro Instructor (Polyvagal Informed Neurophysiology). But perhaps most importantly: he has the ability to make everyone feel at ease in the water, whether you’re brand new or have some experience.
If you’re at all worried about freediving or holding your breath underwater, just know that this is Markus’ philosophy:
“Freediving is more than a sport. Freediving is a practice of awareness, breath control, and inner peace. It’s holistic Mind & Body Therapy.”
You simply couldn’t be in better, safer, or kinder hands.
Meet the team

Charlotte “Lottie” Grysolle
I discovered breathwork on a freediving course—and it completely changed how I relate to stress, performance, and presence. From the very first breathing exercise, I noticed a shift in the volume and intensity of my thoughts.
Since then, I’ve been obsessed with this simple idea:
The body holds all the tools we need—our task is simply learning to listen and use them.
I believe most people are operating with untapped capacity—simply because no one ever showed us how to breathe with skill.
Through breathwork, nervous system regulation, and embodied self-awareness, I work with professionals and entrepreneurs as well as teams at Google and L’Oréal to explore their full nervous system capacity.

Isn’t freediving dangerous?
Not when practiced properly—and especially not in this setting.
You’ll be guided by certified, highly experienced instructors in a controlled and safe environment. Every step is intentional. We progress slowly and teach the science and safety protocols behind every practice.
You’ll never dive alone, and no one is pushed beyond their limits.
Freediving in this context isn’t about records or depth. It’s about learning calm under pressure, tuning into your physiology, and expanding your capacity—safely, and sustainably.
Do I need any freediving or breathwork experience?
Nope.
This experience is designed for beginners. Everything will be taught from the ground up—from foundational breath awareness to entry-level freediving techniques.
All you need is curiosity, a baseline level of comfort in water, and a willingness to explore your edge. We’ll meet you exactly where you are.
How do I get to the retreat location?
Fly into Lanzarote Airport (ACE) in the Canary Islands.
From there, we’ll coordinate transportation to the villa. You’ll receive a detailed travel guide with arrival times, what to pack, and how to prepare in the weeks leading up to the retreat.
What level of fitness do I need?
You should be generally active and comfortable in the water, but no athletic or freediving background is required. You will be supported, coached, and challenged at your own level.
Will I have time to work or check emails?
We recommend full digital disconnection to get the most out of this experience. However, if you need to check in briefly, there will be windows of free time.
Is this spiritual or religious?
No. Everything we teach is grounded in science, physiology, and practice. We welcome curiosity, experimentation, and personal meaning—but there’s no dogma.
